The German Federal Guild Association of the Cleaning Trade, BIV, represents and promotes the interests of over 2,500 member companies to politicians, authorities and institutions and the public at national and European level. The BIV is a leading organization of an innovative line of business with constantly growing importance in the economic structure and acts as a service and information pool for its 33 affiliated guilds and their member companies.
The head of the five-member board of the association is Thomas Dietrich, followed by his deputy Hans Ziegle, Treasurer Roland Böhm and the assessors Thomas Conrady and Stephan Schwarz. The director of the association Johannes Bungart is runnig the staff at the offices in Bonn and Berlin since 1990.
